On a serious note has Mayweather ever fought anyone quite as good as Bradley or Algeri in the past few years?

Gotta give Pacquiao props for giving a live dog Algieri a shot

You have no ****ing credibility.
Live dog??? The only good fight Pacquiao has taken lately was Bradley....twice
Before that his last good fight was Clottey. Don't even come at me with Marquez, that Pac-JMM III was a terrible fight. The only reason the 4th was "legit" was because how bad Pac fumbled the 3rd fight.
Pac has literally taken like 2 good fights, both Bradley, in over 4 years. Imagine if Floyd fought Algieri, my god the thread you would have for that.

You have to give Pacquiao his due credit, he picks the hardest fights and meanwhile Floyd was fighting a flat footed brawler the Pacman was fighting one of the most talented American welterweights who had all sorts of different things he could bring to the fight...
Why did Floyd struggle with a linear fighter?????
Algieri has one legit decent win ever, and at a weight class below where he's fighting.
If you're going to be the 147 champ and fight someone from 140...it better be the best guy there like Hatton in 07 or Bradley in 2012.
Not ****ing Algieri.....c'mon

Bradley was a good fight. No qualms with that. Rios a 140 fighter coming off a loss, Marquez 3 a guy who's only time at WW was a shut out loss, Marquez 4 only because Pac ****** so bad Marquez 3, Margarito coming off a TKO loss, Mosley coming off what should be 2 losses, Algieri at least coming off a win unlike Rios....still not even remotely legit for the 147 title.

chris algieri is the #3 ranekd jr welterweight, wbo world champ, undefeated, young, slick and rangy pure boxer, etc.
maidana had mediocre wins at 147 and was contemplating retirement not too long ago.

Algieri has fought four 10 round fights and one 12 round fight in his career. He needs more experience before stepping in with a fighter of Pacquiao's skillset. TR needs to find better options for Manny as soon as possible.

Provonikov is a good 140 fighter, but what is his resume??? He beat Alvarado, lost to Bradley in a tough fight, and lost to Herrera......
Karass and Lopez were at least decent wins at 147. Karass would go on to beat Berto at least at 147, and Lopez previous fight at 147 was a stoppage win over Ortiz at least. And Broner was at least a multi division champ coming off a win over a WW titlist. And don't twist around ****....damn near everyone said Broner was going to have a field day with Maidana, and picked Broner to win.
So no....beating Provo at 140 isn't better than getting three decent wins at 147
If Floyd fought Algieri, what would people be saying??? Oh my god the hate that'd receive. Floyd fighting Guerrero or Maidana is at least fighting top ranked contenders/other champion in his weight class.
If you're going to fight someone from 140, it better be like Hatton in 2007 or Bradley in 2012, the best fighter there.
