Will Bermane Stiverne and Don King avoid Deontay Wilder?

There's been no news about discussions for the fight.

I have a feeling it's NOT going to happen until sometime well into 2015. When Don King has a fighter with a world title he likes to hang onto it for as long as possible without fighting (remember Guillermo Jones didn't defend for two years).

Wilder should go for the WBA belt instead (or there could be a fight with the winner of Jennings-Perez for an interim WBC title).

Why would he duck a guy who has been picking fighters from Skid-row ?

Stiverne will beat Wilder. I suspect most delays related to King have more to do with the other powers that be trying to freeze him out.

And King likes to keep his boxers inactive. He won't let Stiverne fight anyone for a long, long time, wait and see.
So does Stiverne, and has proven it against a higher level of competition. Wilder may be the real deal, but I cannot see why Stiverne or Don would be worried against an unproven guy.

Didn't Stiverne say he would fight Wilder?

Stiverne is going to end the wilder hype train.

they actually have no choice if he wants to be champion they already said he has to fight wilder next so if they avoid him they will do so at the expense of the title

The idea that King doesn't like making money (ie. likes to keep his fighters on the shelf) is pretty dumb. King has been blackballed by the industry over the years as many try to freeze him up. Thus, it's been difficult for him to get his fighter's opponents or even for him to build cards without purse bids.

I agree with the ts! Don't see King letting this fight happen anytime soon. Boxing sucks!

Anyone who's on Twitter should start calling out Stiverne, King, Wilder and whoever else is involved. Need to ask:

Why is this fight not happening? When will this fight happen? etc., etc.
