Pacman/Algieri & Garcia/Salka, which is worse?

I say the Garcia fight is worse but this is the only Pacquiao fight in the last several years that I will not be buying on PPV. It's sad.

pacquiao vs algirei is the worst fight. pacquiao is considered by many as the greatest fighter of the era and the best fighter in the world today. their is no reason he should be fighting a guy who is 1 fight removed from being an espn type of fighter on ppv for 70 dollars. pacquiao is the 2nd highest paid fighter in the sport, there is no way you can defend this fight. and im hearing people say algirei is a champion who beat a top 10 junior welterweight. but when Floyd fights a guy like guerrero,ortiz, or maidana its a cherry pick. dudes who have been fighting on hbo/showtime for years before they got a shot at Floyd. the double standard on this site is ridiculous.

and as far as Garcia vs salka. who cares? its a free fight on showtime not a 70 ppv fight like pacquiao vs algirei. pacquiao is an all time great who is fighting a guy nobody even heard of 2 months ago. Garcia is fighting a guy nobody ever heard of, but danny Garcia isn't on the level of manny pacquiao. remember when provodnikov vs algieri was announced everybody said who the hell is this guy. now that pacquiao is gonna fight him, all of a sudden he is a credible fighter. bull****!!!!

Both fights are doo doo. Danny's fight is worse, but Manny kill's that Algieri guy. I can tell you 10 people that beat Danny Garcia in my eye. I couldnt give you two that beats Manny. We know the one. So Danny is way lower caliber even as champion. It kind of evens out. I can say this if he fights Manny, no more Caucasian American champions.

Algieri's not a bum. He's a champion and a top 10 JWW, he's just not deserving at all for Pacquiao, which is why Pac/Algieri is a bad fight.

Danny Garcia is supposed to be THE champ at 140, in his prime. He's coming off a fight most people think he lost and needs to regain his credibility. He's digging not even in the gutters, but beneath the gutters of 135 for an opponent. At least Algieri is somebody. Salsa is nobody.

Seriously why are PAC fans like you hyping Algieri as some legit fighter for a p4p #3 fighter. Let me ask you did you even know who Chris Algieri was before the Prov fight? I highly doubt it. And the guy struggled to convincingly beat a one dimensional club fighter who's a C+ fighter at best. Pacquiao is held to a higher gold standard then Danny Garcia my friend. Weren't one of those crying that Danny Garcia got beat by a plumber in his last fight?


And how the hell is Garcia/Salka worse when your forking $70 to watch another complete mismatch when you can watch the other mismatch for FREE.

Numbers dont matter in this one. Arum and co. are making big time mula from that place. And possibly Chinese TV.

there is noway TR is making the same sort of money off Chinese TV that they would with a legit opponent in Las Vegas on US PPV. Unless Macau is paying some immense amounts of money up front just to showcase Manny.

I'm guessing Pac is happy as long as he gets his 20 mil or so.

Aside from Pac/Algieri being on ppv, when you look at the quality of opposition for both Danny and Pac, at least a person with any knowledge can see where Algieri would be able to give Pac some problems. He's tall, rangy, and has some pretty decent skills. Not to mention he's at least ranked. Now this isnt to say that I approve of this fight because I surely dont, but Garcia/Salsa is a disgrace to the sport. Salsa is ranked 77th!

Garcia Salka is worse but. In perspective Manny is p4p...this is on PPV.....and Garcia looked like hell his last fight people even thought he lost. So it's very damn close but maybe Pacs worse since this bull**** is PPV.

Algiri at least and undefeated champion. Garcia fought a who's who of Grandpas and his boogieman, Matthysse. Algiri fought his boogieman Provo, just no grandpas yet
