Danny Garcia is supposed to be THE champ at 140, in his prime. He's coming off a fight most people think he lost and needs to regain his credibility. He's digging not even in the gutters, but beneath the gutters of 135 for an opponent. At least Algieri is somebody. Salsa is nobody.
Pretty much sums it up, having said that, this is the first Pacquiao fight I've been disappointed in since the Mosley debacle. Aligieri should not be on any PPV, not yet anyway and what is TR thinking? All this does it lessen the PPV revenues, already decreased by fighting in China. I'm guessing this will do less than Cotto/Martinez.

I hope Pac doesn't accept the fight.

Whether ya'll like it or not Algieri is a champion and got a meaningful win.

      Salsa has....?

But dont get me wrong, they're both disgraceful fights. Lol

Garcia and Salka, because ATLEST Algeri beat a top 10 guy in his weight class.

Salka has done nothing, this is like a Gary Russel type fight, unranked and easy fights to pad a record.

Numbers dont matter in this one. Arum and co. are making big time mula from that place. And possibly Chinese TV.

Algieri beat Provodnikov, who if he had won, would likely have fought Pac next. Algieri was just part of a headlining fight. You can argue the fight shouldnt be a ppv if made and that ALgieir shouldn't be getting a shot at a ww belt, but it isn't worse than danny v salka.

Salka has done nothing to my knowledge, has never headlined a major card, nor has any business fighting for the JWW lineal title.
