Golovkin and Wladimir might puncher harder than him but i believe it would be scarier to face Kovalev in the ring. Heres why;

    Kovalev looks like he puts nothing into his punches, its so effortless and looks like pitty patty arm shots. However this guy is able to generate so much power to KO his opponents everytime he lands a shot, even grazing/glancing blows from KOvalev hurt.

    Because 'KO'valev hands move this way. It is almost impossible to see his shots coming. Compare this to Golovkin, sometimes you can tell he is about to throw a shot. But kovalevs hands and body 'move like water' as Bruce Lee once said.

    His punching technique is flawless because opponents never see his punches because he never shows what he is gonna do even for a milli second while generating knock out power with the same punches.

    Who agrees with me that Kovalevs punching technique is perfect and the best in boxing? Hopkins should avoid, its bad publicity for a Legend and old man to get embarrased and knocked out.

    Kovalev is always composed and never throws a wild shot like 'wind miller' Deontay Wilder. I am not sure what Kovalevs punch connect percentage is but i am sure it is very high.

    Kovalev is no 'Krusher', he is a 'Killer' no pun intended.

    I agree with some aspects about Kobalevs punches, but I disagree with you that he is apart from the rest, GGG doesn't telegraph his punches like you make it seem like he does, and even unorthodox punchers like Maidana have great technique, timing, and effectiveness, and if we are taking about textbook excecution, JMM and Cotto are better than Kovalev, so is Floyd for that matter, as well as Rigo.

      Yeah Good post. IDK about judging who is the best...but been saying for while he for sure throws some of the shortest punches and most powerful shots in boxing. totally agree with what you said about them being hard to see

        Deontay and Golovkin are better punchers than Kovalev.
