Kovalev explaine after the Agnew fight that he doesn't put all his strength in all his punches. He will do test shots before he start putting power in the shots he set up. That is how he scored that jab knock out. Every fighter does this.. B Hop does this better than him.

well, cleverly had the confidence of knowing that the ref would pick him up and carry him to the corner when kovalev started to really pound on him.

Kovalev's offense is amazing. I'd love to see how Hopkins deals with him.

he'll probably foul his way through a round or two after tryign to box for a round.

then he'll pick a convenient way to get out of the fight, the way he did with dawson.

i'm thinking that he "slips" in a hard clinch, and injures his shoulder again.

if he can't do that, he's getting stopped. kovalev's workrate would UD him if he can't get the stoppage, but i think that he does.

kovalev's first punch might not land, but he throws combinations. eventually, he'll start putting heavy hands on hopkins. hopkins doens't have the chin he used to. the guy is close to freaking 50.

          kovalev via knockout.

Kovalev's punches are straight down the pipe. And when 1 shots hits another one is coming.

I think It's actually more difficult to predict when GGG is about to throw, Kovalev's rhythm is more predictable but he's busier and more explosive.

IDK, I think Kovalev is a huge puncher. He lands little tapping quick shots that send guys flying across the ring doing the booty dew. That ****er hits hard.

Roman Gonzalez and Kovalev are the best punchers in the sport.
