Groves is in too much control. Paddy seems to be a yes man. This is a showcase fight. The sauerlands picked this guy bcoz hes has never fought anyone and he only has 6 kos in 20 odd wins. This aint a final eliminator either.

He wants to get back on track and I'm not usre how you can blame him. He just lost the biggest fight of the year in his backyard with 80k in attendance.

Cool to see Groves training in Big Bear though, he's getting good sparring there with GGG.

Groves is a quality fighter, he can still win a title.

Skills, speed and power are there, we'll just need to see how he responds to being flattened by the Cobra.

There's a number of private camps for altitude training around Big Bear Lake apparently - Sanchez' Summit is the best known cos of GGG, but it doesn't sound like Groves is gonna be exclusively training with any one gym.

And I can understand Groves wanting a 'tune-up' fight, which Sauerland assured us this wasn't, but Rebrasse?

I have to admit the guy might be a formidible boxer as far as I know, but my pet Boxrec warrior tells me this appears improbable.

Still the EBU title can't hurt Groves' chances of getting further fights whether in Europe or the US.
