Yes, the scores were awful for the fight. Open scoring is one of the worst creations of all time. Canelo won a close competitive fight. There was no blow out.

Lara has done a lot of talking, I just hope his big mouth can back it when the time actually matters...

I think Canelo is not looking to box this one out he is going to want to break Laras jaw in this one with a brutal inside war.

This is one of the biggest misconceptions in the world of boxing. Because Mexicans like to brawl, doens't mean they don't teach proper boxing in Mexico.

Cullo Hernandez set a standard of technical boxing in Mexico that I don't think many countries can match.

Cuban boxing is better for the amateur game, Mexican boxing school is MADE for the pro's.

It's the reason Mexico has had so many champions and will continue to do so.

It has been uncharacteristic for Canelo and his camp to be trash talking about a fighter from when they signed the contract. It looked like they want to get under Lara's skin so he will engage more. Or simply trying to sell the fight because Lara is unknown to the masses.

But it looks now that Lara has really gotten under Canelo's skin.

The Angulo fights are decieving. He was willing to take punishment to land against Lara and that is something that Canelo won't be willing to do. Also Canelo struggles with boxers. On top of that Lara won't be standing in front of Canelo so he can unleashed to tight combos.

This is a 50/50 fight and it boils down to the individual fighter and it won't determine which school of boxing is better.
