Olympic gold medal winner Yuriorkis Gamboa (23-1, 16KOs) is making quick moves to reestablish himself as one of the best fighters in the sport. Last month he suffered the first loss of his career, when he was stopped in the ninth round of his exciting fight with WBO lightweight champion Terence Crawford.
It was clear during the contest that Gamboa, a former two division champion, was too small for 135-pounds. He plans to compete at super featherweight when he enters the ring later this year.
