Having watched back at some of kovalevs previous fights, I don't think Hopkins will fight this guy.

I think it's a negotiating ploy to get more money for the Stevenson fight. And trying to make Stevenson not delay the fight further given his age.

In the last line of this article it actually says Kathy Duva reached out to Hopkins camp immediately after the article last week and her response was "I don't know"

She says that everyone said "i dont know" including to the question of who represents/negotiates for Hopkins.

Who the hell can make a fight for him then? That's what it says.... she says whenever his promotional situation is figured out, to call her.

I have no doubt that Kathy is doing everything in her power to get kovalev a big fight. So if this fight happens it will be because Hopkins and company were willing to play ball. We shall see

kovalev would badly hurt hopkins at this point. i wouldn't be mad at hopkins if he chose to take on stevenson instead, as that is also a dangerous fight for him albeit a much more winnable one. really it shouldn't be falling on a 50 year old man's shoulders to step up to the killer; stevenson is not young either but he's at the height of his career right now so it should be his job to face the bogeyman.

50 years of age is like 65% the lifespan for the average man...

I'd like a poster over the age of 45 to comment on this, as I've not yet reached that stage of life.
