Hes only the bigger draw cause their is no competition for those dates. Trust if canelo puts on a PPV on the same date he will out sell Mayweather, Canelo can have any oppenent and only oppenent Maywaether can have that will out sell Canelo on those dates will be Pacquaio other then that he cant and say he does then what Theirs only 1 pacquaio. So he can win the battle but thats a big if but he will lose the war no matter what.

I didn't even touch on ppv's I was talking about the financial view pint of the MGM. If that's the case. Why doesn't he out sell Floyd now. Come on bro chill I love here in Vegas the fight this weekend was an after thought where as the whole weekend when Floyd fight is built around the fight get out of here man. Mexican Independence Day or not a Mayweather fight is an event and Canelos fights are just that a fight in Vegas on a Saturday.

Canelo-Cotto would probably break 1 million buys but that's the max, and the price won't be as much as a Floyd PPV. I still doubt the revenue breaks a Floyd PPV. Even if Mayweather-Maidana did 850-900K, it still likely did over 60 million in PPV revenue, plus another 14M or whatever at the gate.

the problem is if you put those 2 fights on the same date floyd wont even draw what he did last time vs chino... on cinco de mayo latinos will go for cotto-canelo...
