This kid has been a pro since 15 years old - i doubt he was able to pick and choose back then - he earned his stripes and now he is picking the toughest opposition out there.... rumor has it that Canelo did not have a good camp??? Oh well - im still rolling with him - but Lara gotta worry about that pressure and those combo's oh yeah Canelo can slip a shot from time to time also - lastly look up the interview, Mayweather said he picked Canelo at this stage because in a year or 2 he will be too good, and Floyd would be 2 years older - when he said that, it really made me look at Canelo alot deeper - Canelo lost that dight feom lack of experience, he wasnt out muscled or dropped he was outclassed by the best, lara's record does not stack up and he lost to Molina, and Angulo was holding his own - this will be a helluva fight

He was suppose to fight ortiz, he was suppose to fight cotto, they both lost. Paul williams had an accident. He beat undefeated trout, fought may, and now his fighting one of the best 154 pounder.

Shields talks nonsense canelo didnt have the amateur experience he turned pro and was learning on the job. Look now hes fighting top guys trout, floyd, angulo and lara. Not many can match that in terms of competition.

Ironically when it was Broner under the same scrutiny it was "well he's young doe" and "He's only 22 doe"...stop being hypocrites. You can't expect Crawford, russell, canelo and anyone under below 26 to have an insane resume yet.
All that is true he is young and fighters need to get a few confidence building fights in before they step up the comp... And if Canelo was any other fighter at his age having fought a Mayweather and Angulo at this point he'd be a little ahead if schedule in terms of competition. Difference is they've been shoving this dude down our throats (no ****) for years now as if he's "the second coming", networks, promoters, media etc... When you put someone in that kind of position and market him in that way you can expect people to want to see some proof ... No one is buying a Lamborghini or Ferrari without looking under the hood first. They've been trying to sell that Lamborghini (Canelo) for quite some time now and when we ask to see what's under the hood the response is usually "just take my word for it, this thing can run" ... This weekend will answer a lot of questions

Canelo is not really a pressure fighter he can go hard but only in spurts ... I have a feeling the idea is to come in over weight which may help him in his strength/conditioning and allow him to apply pressure for longer but if that's not the case he's going to have to try and outbox Lara and outmuscle him on the ropes when he can ... Either way it's going to be a tall order.

You're right about the combos though Canelo puts them together like none other. Not sure Lara is going to be there to receive any but when Canelo lets his hands go its something else.
