Highly-regarded super middleweight Maxim Vlasov (29-1, 14 KOs) will enter light heavyweight waters on July 26 at the Skonto Stadium in Riga, Latvia. The 27-year old boxer-puncher from Samara, Russia, will not waste any time against little-known opponents or tune-ups but will go right after a meaningful person. The choice of Vlasov is fellow countryman Dmitry Sukhotskiy (22-2, 16 KOs), who is rated #5 by the WBO, #7 by the WBC, #11 by the WBA and #12 by the IBF. The news was confirmed by Oleg Bogdanov, who serves as a matchmaker for several fight of the show.
