    who has Calzaghe ducked?

Just curious about this, been hearing he has ducked people in the past, and not being a native of Europe I've only gotten to see him fight on ShoBOX's little media archive . Just curious, who has he ducked?(besides the hand thing or w/e last year w/ lacy)

I think the lack of responses here speaks volumes

An offer of $6 mil was made to Hopkins - he turned it down. he wanted to fight much smaller fighters to make a great 'legacy'.

Another huge offer was made to Roid Jones. Again, he didnt want to know.

No one has wanted to fight Calzaghe. As soon as an American has come along that wanted to fight him - Lacy - the fight has happened. Fair play to Jeff for taking the hardest fight out there.

The only reason there are no responses are people can't be ***ed listing them all. It would be quicker to ask "who hasn't he ducked?".

I honestly believe if an offer of that magnitude was given to Bhop or RJ the fight would have came off. But what else was written in that offer?

On top of that, Why would two of the #1 Pound 4 Pound fighters in the world have to go to England to GIVE JOE THE SHOT?

I understand that boxing is a business and Calzaghe makes alot of money with low risk fighting in England. More power to him. But don't insult my intelligence by saying that two first ballot hall of famers ducked him.

And in terms of an American that wanted to "play fair", Jeff Lacy knows that there is no chance in hell that Joe is going to cross the pond. And there isn't any other big offers at 168, so he'll go over to England to make the fight. Lacy, at least not to the general public, isn't the superstar RJ or Bernard was. But god willing, Left Hook can be after he KO's Calzaghe, and then comes home and takes on Tarver.

it was bhop that pulled out of that match not joe, joe is in a division with not many stars thats why it might look like he's not faced one but when u look at his record he has beaten lots of former world champions, its easy to bash joe but he hasn't lost yet and the big guns in the other WEIGHT divisions ducked him not the other way around. Joe has always had a problem with breaking his hands so i wasn't suprised that he did it, why box a man with one hand if your gonna fake a injury?

I'd like to see Lacy try boxing with one hand.

and how many big name fights has he had?
how many title unification fights did he have?
how many fights of the year has he had?
how many offers has he made to his fellow champions/contenders to fight them?
and how open has he been to fight the best in his division?

P.S. remember, fighting lacy wasnt joe's idea, it was lacy's. if lacy hadnt challenged him, joe cal***gy would still be extending his lengthy and fraudulent title reign fighting nobodies.
