From what I've seen thus far GGG tends to heat up as the fight goes on.

Gets stronger and more active as the fight goes on ala Margarito. GGG's most active rounds vs Ouma (His worst night) Where the 9th and 10th.

Vs Stevens he also threw a lot towards the end. Whether that's adrenaline to finish it or great stamina I'm not sure.

Can Geale push it to the championship rounds? I doubt it.

But I still respect his ability. He's a very good fighter.

I dont think golovkin is as strong a one-puncher as people seem to think, but i think his non-power punches are probably some of the strongest p4p. This is because he doesn't wind up many massive shots (like Stevens for example tried against him), he just uses timing and balance. Also, he has an incredibly strong core, you can tell by just looking at him. There are some vids on youtube of him doing the kind of strength training that strongmen do - this gives him a massive advantage and probably has helped him develop an iron chin, certainly looked that way against Stevens, who did catch him a couple of times.

All in all, I don't think Geale can beat him. If he does, he'll have to have become the love child of Bradley and Mayweather in avoiding shots and this will be the most frustrating fight ever. Most probably I see a late ref stoppage after GGG has battered his face to a bloody pulp, a la Rosado. Don't think we will see an early KO cos Geales no bum, but thats what I said against Macklin.

I just hope Geale has enough stamina to fight 12 rounds. If he does, this then this is a winnable fight.
If GGG takes out Geale the way he did Macklin and Stevens then it isn't hype. He would be for real. I became a GGG fan after the Macklin fight but this is his first real test. If he wins convincingly against Geale then he isn't a hype job (not saying an ATG or TBE) but definitely not a hype job.

Geale should look to stick and move, catching GGG with jabs and stomach punches before he slips to the side. You need lateral movement to force him to chase you down. Once he misses you enough, he'll start to tire out, especially if you can tag him to the body enough times. Only then will you stand a chance of trying to hold your ground and catch him with combos. If you stand and trade with him, you are getting knocked out.

I don't think Geale can jab with GGG.

Adama has a better jab and he only had sporadic success. GGG could put Geale down if they trade enough jabs.

Thats fair, but I wouldn’t rate him that much higher. He needs a real fight at middleweight, against a really good fighter, not just a solid opponent.

Which heavyweights in particular has he dropped in sparring ? Just curious ..

If GGG's big shots land, Geale may not survive.
