Over here it doesn't matter if you drop the case or not, the police would push the crown procesution service for a charge on you, unless you pay the crown prosecution off which is impossible. The victims can't just be paid off for the case to be "Dropped"... I know it happens in America but not here, anyone that thinks it happens here must be quite uneducated.
This is true. In the Uk, even offering to pay someone not to press charges after a complaint has been made to the police is a criminal offence - "perverting the course of justice". In a high profile case like this, it just wouldn't happen.
This is not America, you can't pay anyone off in the UK
Bunch of broke, honest citizens, we are to believe. There are lots of ways to get paid off. They had a revolution over here about that honesty, uh, I mean taxation.
