This era has no one like Ali, Foreman, Holyfield, Lewis, Mercer, even Tommy Morrison. So, who cares who he Ko'ed. Had he fought any of these guys, he would've been Ko'ed himself. FACT. He fights to survive inside the ring. A lot distance jabbing and holding. He doesn't get away with that in another era.
I respect most fighters regardless If I'm a fan or not but you have to be easily the most disrespectful idiot I've came across which is rare because most Pacquiao fans are quite nice people and understanding.

So what difference does it make what way a fighter fights?
Winning is the most important thing and winning is exactly what WK has done throughout most of his career.
You get people questioning the past BECAUSE of this sort of bias.

Realting to topic. Yes wlad probably hits harder, Steward said the same. I fully agree if Wlad managed to land what Vitali landed he would have put him down, no doubt in my mind.

but... would he be able to.. still 50:50 fight for me (prime for prime).
I don't care who hits harder. Foreman hit harder than Lennox, yet lost to Holyfield whereas Lennox won. Power isn't everything, and especially in Wlad's case. He was scared of throwing the right hand against Chambers ffs. Steward had to literally scream at him to get him to throw it. Imagine if Lennox Lewis had been on the other side.

Well, Steward also said Lennox would win and said he has him ranked higher than Wlad H2H.

      So what's your point?

Wlad isn't the hardest puncher ever. P4P, Julian Jackson or Jimmy Wilde are the hardest punchers ever.

Lennox wasn't invicible either. In quite a few fights he was in trouble. But he found the way to win (that's what counts).

Of course power isn't everything. But I rate Wlad's jab, defence, speed and the footwork over Lennox.

Lennox has better chin, inside game and might know a few trick that Wlad doesn't.

As I said 50:50 for me... saying it would be blow off either way is silly IMO.

I heard Maneul saying Lennox had a better resume (or he proved himself more), but I never heard him saying he ranks Lennox higher H2H or that Lennox would win... I know of the interview in which he said he can't tell and that Wlad could put Lennox in trouble. Not saying he didn't say it, just I never saw it. Could you find me that one...

Who cares about what a basketball coach has to say regarding 2 boxers?

But Wlad hits extremely hard, yet couldn't ko chinny cruiserweight haye? Makes you think a bit, and maybe triangle theories don't work when it applies to chins.
Maybe Wlad wouldn't have ko'ed LL, and maybe LL would have ko'ed Wlad, you just don't know in this game.
Haye made defense his focus that fight over winning. That was his number one priority, to not get KTFO. Obviously it wasnt from a lack of power that wlad didnt KO him. Haye is fast and hard to hit clean.

And yeah, Wlad probably wouldnt have koed LL, LL would have gotten to him first. LL had a habit of underestimating guys and showing up fat but also showing up diesel for guys like a shot Tyson. LL would be in his best shape against Wlad and fully prepared. Sanders woudl have had a better shot at KOing an uprepared lewis with his short and sneaky hook. LL would have shown up fat and unprepared against sanders.

Wasn't Freddie Roach quoted saying that he thinks that Wlad hits harder than Mike Tyson?

That seems to have more shock value than this.

Neither statement is shocking. Wlad hits pretty freaking hard.

I don't really think that Lennox's career is more accomplished. At this point, Wlad's quantity >> Lennox quality of opposition. And it's not like his quality is the stuff of legends either.

He retired rather early and he only had 41 career wins. Hardly something to latch onto.
