But anyone who is diehard or an experienced fighter knows a master of these traits is almost impossible to beat and even harder to even look good against without getting frustrated.

That is truly a thing to behold, pure skill at the highest level...any two subpar guys can produce a devastating war of attrition and KO, but only a select few can give you the prior arrangement.
Great post fellas,I don't think are to many who appreciate the sweet science anymore..I think peoples attention span has become shorter and people are so short sided they can't see the beauty in a good boxing match..If someone is not KO'd they go on to say the fight is boring..

Baseball is a sport near to my heart, the thing that made me love Baseball was not the long ball..It was angles, and the brains needed to play the game..Very similar to boxing..Peoples patients and attention spans are the issue nowa days..The sports are exactly the same, the viewers have changed..

All those attributes are great if used to create offense and defense equally. But certain fighters, eg direll, rigondeaux, are way too defense skewed for my likings.

Guys like Manny and Cotto use angles, movement and timing and they Don't stank their fights with boringness, unnecessary movement and non-agresive BS.

That guys, like FLoyd(not lately), Ridondeuax, Ward etc have all those attributes, but instead of trying to use them to entertain, the BS and make fights boring as hell.

And we all know you make this thread thinking about, Dawson, Floyd, Rigo etc

I made this thread to talk boxing which it seems most know nothing about, all fighters do not have the same durability or er endurance and can not take the same amount of punishment as others or simply choose not too so they do not take as many chances..and what you call boring others find entertaining as some people actually like to see fighters pick other fighters apart..Rigo is far from boring to me and i picked against him in the Donaire fight out of pure ignorance

rigo did very well against nonito...no question about that...that he boxed beautifully..

i could not remember though that rigo ran as one who was hanging on his dear life by running like a chicken candidate for a stew....

i appreciate good boxing skills as ali is my goat...

but i could not appreciate running just to last the 12 rounds distance...

just throw in the towel and be truthful and accept defeat..

not waste the viewers time - watching a marathon on a boxing ring....

Imagine if some MMA guy lost and blamed it on "he's a hugger." Or after the Heat lost the NBA finals if LeBron got up and said "They're coward defenders, don't they want to entertain the fans?" Boxing seriously has the most ******ed know-nothing fans of any sport on the planet.

Prime Tyson was a master at angles and distance and movement and timing. He wasn't boring. : -)
