dont think hunter ever fought but the first guy that came to mind was angelo.

someone here mentioned enzo, great pick! but only angie, outta these guys is a great trainer.

not too many great trainers with no boxing experience.

always thought it was a brother of Cus who boxed and he just hung around the gym and got working with fighters.

Ray Arcel did box as a kid according to Donald Deweys book.Ray Arcel had 12 fights in a sort of Gym Fights type of competition.page 19.

Enzo Calzaghe did not start Joes career as he had another Coach take him through the Ams. but he took over when joe turned pro. which is still pretty remarkable.

Rudy hernandez trained Genaro (his brother?) had he fought before?

Also has Ismail Salas boxed? I think he boxed in Cuba before he became a Coach there but not sure.
