Maybe Rod Salka can put up a better fight than Matthysse, we all expected Herrera to be an easy fight for Garcia, and ended showing us he has more heart, and skill than Matthysse.

Makes no sense, he beat Mattyhsse fair and square, no catchweight, both men were perfect healthy, Garcia proved to be the tougher, better fighter, Matthysse fanboys should get over it. Remember, this is coming from someone who thought Danny got his ass whooped in his last fight.
i also thought that a victory over matthysse would bust up his confidence, but it didn't happen, how can you explain him fighting salka after herrera (who was supposed to be a tune up).

can you read? that's what you asked me before, now i ask you, can you read? and can you explain me why danny is fighting salka?
Garcia has a better resume than Matthysse, and beat Matthysse’s ass, so its just a bit mind boggling when fans bring this up. Do you want me to say Danny Garcia is a cherry picking coward?
Should I forget him taking on Khan, and Matthysse when he didn’t have to and rising to the occasion?
Either way, I like Garcia, Broner, and Matthysse, just pointing out the fanboy logic that infests this site, thats all.

i believe that garcia/matthysse was close and far from being a one sided beating like you make it sound, then what was broner/maidana? a murder attempt?

He totally should have rematched Herrera, obviously they think he’s high risk low reward and don’t want that rematch. Nevertheless, Salka is a stay busy fight, which I have no problem with as long as his next fight is a big one, which I think it will be, if not then shame on him and his team, but I certainly don’t think the guy is a paper champ or a coward in anyway, and Matthysse fans especially should think that either.
Nobody wants Mayweather to give Maidana the rematch other than Argentinean fans, Floyd won a competitive close fight, if he decides to use his legs in this rematch (which he will), then we’re in for another boring Mayweather PPV matchup.
I didn’t see Broner vs Maidana as that much of a one sided beating, you’re obviously letting your hate for Broner cloud your judgement on the fight. Broner definitely lost against Maidana, and definitely took a beating, but lets not act like he didn’t put up a good fight. In my opinion, that was one of those fights that were easy to judge because Maidana was the clear winner, but the fight was competitive, even though it wasn’t close on the cards. I don’t think it was an easy fight for Maidana at all. He still had to work each round.
Same with Matthysse Garcia, except that fight was a bit closer, but after just rewatching the fight, you can really see Matthysse was not comfortable getting hit by Garcia, his face in the fourth round really gave it all the way.

broner put a good fight but one eye matthysse didn't? matthysse wasn't in survival mode once his eye got closed, he went for the KO 'cause he knew he was losing the fight. you tell me not to forget that broner put up a good fight against maidana, well i tell you, not to forget how he tried to get chino DQ in the 8º round with his acting, yet i don't remember matthysse doing something similar against danny.
do i hate broner? i should ask you if you hate matthysse.

That Lucas hype starting back up again? Haha yall remember what happened last time you tried to front. Broner beats him fairly easily in my opinion. He just needs to work his way up to WW and be comfortable there and then he takes Lucas easily.

Which is why I wrote in my response that Matthysse did put up a good fight, I compared his performance to Broner’s except it was far less humiliating. Broner got humped, and he did act to try and get Maidana penalized, but thats not that much different then anything Bernard Hopkins has tried before.
And to answer your question, no, I do not hate Matthysse….I hate how overrated he is, and most of his radical fans that always pick him by way of murder every time they make a prediction on one of his fights. Before you respond to this by saying Broner is overrated too, he’s not as overrated on Boxingscene and never has been, not even close. Was he being built up to be the next Floyd by Showtime and HBO, yea, but thats their job, to find the next cash cow. Same thing happened with Canelo being the next Goldenboy. Broner is pretty hated here and despised, please don’t respond to this by saying he’s overrated, only people who overrated him were the casual fans.
