Thats true, I’m just replying to people who are saying Matthysse would murder Broner, or Broner would never fight him. History s repeating itself, we’ve seen this happen before with Matthysse.

Go back and read my posts, I said as of right now, there chins are equal, but Broner has fought the bigger puncher, and bigger fighter at a higher weight class, while Matthysse fought a LWW moving up, if you can’t see the difference there then I’m taking to a wall.

All I’m saying is the same thing I said last year with Garcia, that his fight with Matthysse was a 50/50 fight, but some of you nonsensical fan boys couldn’t see past your hero’s power. Broner vs Matthysse is a 50/50 fight, both lost to better fighters, both men had a tough time beating subpar fighters in their “comeback” fights.

was molina smaller than matthysse? hell no, he was even bigger than maidana, and he also can punch. that's the reason why broner chose to fight the other molina, the one with 7 KOs or something similar.

matthysse was caught cold, he got knocked down, big deal, never again in the fight molina hurt him, and he did land on lucas big but he couldn't repeat that. i repeat, look at broner's legs after the first KD, lucas never went into survival mode against molina like broner did against maidana, quite the opposite, he proceeded to demolish molina systematically.

KD asides, go watch matthysse/molina jr again, lucas didn't have any trouble, it was brutal what he did against him, meanwhile broner beat a lightweight who was coming of a year and a half lay off and. he couldn't even hurt him, yet he will KO lucas. bravo

It's concerning that he went down at all, but Matthysse didn't look hurt after either knockdown. He got up and beat Molina's ass both times. It really was rather one-sided, especially over the last 5 rounds or so after the back of the head KD.

Still, I don't think Lucas looked good in that fight.

If it could be made I think its a good match up! I doubt its a good match right away for both boys however. They need another bout or two to be able to correct some obvious flaws. Broner needs to sort out his defense and start applying combination punching and being more accurate.
Matthysse needs to get to Big Bear or Mayweathers or Wild Car or somewhere that has better sparring than in Argentina or Barcelona or where ever he's from. Sorry but sparring there doesn't cut it unless your regimented in your training program and your not interested in being able to make adjustments.
You can be successful this way but most fighters who only apply themselves with limited options get in trouble as their competition caliber moves up.
He would learn a lot in a few short weeks with Abel or Freddy!
Again both could use a fight or two them next year at 140lbs this could be a good one!

No Khan has no chin, a suspect chin is reserved for the guys who have been shaken up and knocked down sometimes but still might have a chin, time will tell.


To be honest I don't remember my prediction, but I'm almost sure I picked Maidana by KO though.

I don't like Garcia's next fight, but are you trying to insinuate that he's being protected? I thought that would end after he beat "the machine".
