Let Canelo think he can walk through Lara's punches have people not seen how he messed up trout face worse than Canelo ? Not mentioning the Angulo face deconstruction surgery he did, that man is done, but thats what it takes to "walk " after Lara is teeing of. If Canelo forgoes defense the new Ginger will look like this.

People should really go back and look at the Trout - Canelo fight again. Trout threw more but he hit the air a lot and didn't land anything effective. Canelo wasn't able to hit him with a lot of combos but the punches he did land were far superior to the punches that Trout landed. That is why he won the fight.

Lara is not the defensive genius that Mayweather is and Canelo even hit him with some good shots. I know that is not popular theme. Everything Mayweather hit Canelo with was soft and easily brushed off, but even Mayweather said he still feels a left hook that Caenlo landed after the Maidana fight

Slow-handed Angulo was able to get off on Lara with good body punches, and dropped him twice. He is a come straight ahead guy with little defense or head movement. Canelo was not a come straight ahead guy against Trout or Mayweather. He generally advances with caution. But his head movement is very good and his hand speed is very good. He is a developing fighter in terms of cutting movers off.

I hardly see a shut-out for Lara. He will be in range enough. I don't know if he'll stand still for the 5-6 punch combo but he'll be there enough to get hit hard. I think banking on Canelo being the hype job and gassing out is going to seen as spurious. I think Canelo will drop Lara and beat this braggart.

I don't think he will be deterred after the first good one that gets in and he doesn't drop or the 20th one. He'll keep throwing but I don't think Lara will take 20 good shots.

I hope you are not suggesting he'll quit throwing and loudly inquire "Are you crazy, Fall!"

No Angulo kept throwing punches because every time Lara landed a big shot and Angulo was near by he would simply shell up and let Angulo tee off on him.

When your opponents can't hit you hard enough (Mayweather, Trout) or often enough (Angulo), it makes for a different kind of fight than dealing with a fast, hard puncher. Lara punches hard and accurately enough to disrupt anything Alvarez might try to do. This will be Canelo's hardest fight. Floyd might've beaten him more convincingly, but Landy will make him feel his blows hard and often. It won't be easy for either man.

To be fair, Mayweather did hit Canelo hard enough to make him apprehensive in mounting an all out attack.
