I don't think it's a sure thing, but I'd favor Lomachenko over the wreck Rigo left behind. If Vic Darchinyan can almost do it, Loma probably succeeds.

I think fans are way too high on him suddenly all because he beat an unproven yet talented prospect who in fairness is quite mediocre minus his handspeed and he is really a one handed fighter with slow feet.
Not sure about Lomachenko's activity either he spends way too much time doing nothing and giving rounds away. I do not feel he is anywhere near ready for Donaire.
Donaire tends to struggle with guys who box off the backfoot. Loma is an aggressive fighter for most part, the type Donaire flatlines.
A lot more chance Lomachenko gets KTFO than Donaire IMO
I just can't see it, I don't even think Lomachenko is a puncher myself. If he was too win which I'd bank against it would be a decision.Comment
