Have you seen Fletcher fight? Bar Room Brawlers have more technique.

Garcia says he defeated Salka in the Pennsylvania Golden Gloves in 2006, but doesn't remember much from the fight.

"At the end of the day, it's the Danny Garcia show. It don't matter who I'm [going to] fight. It's my show and I'm going to give my fans a great performance. It always happens, when the fans don't know of a guy they shoot the fight down. Every fight is a big fight when Danny Garcia steps in the ring."

Wow. The all powerful Al Hymen is so influential that he has Garcia brainwashed into believing he's on Floyd's level now, following his script and talking all arrogant & delusional, and referring to himself in the third person.

Does he really believe opponents don't matter and simply his name on the show will bring in the numbers? The fans are waking up to the con job being perpetrated by Hymen's business agenda of maximum pay for the least amount of risk. Fool us once, shame on you...fool us twice....

If he struggles for even 3 seconds -- then he's going to be a punchline. He gets nothing accomplished here.
He gets a big paycheck thanks to Al Haymon hiring from the local temp agency. This isn't Garcia this is all Haymon trying to make his fighters look good, this is why I don't get all the hate. This fight is garbage but it's the Al Haymon way, which is why HBO told him to **** off. They still need Golden Boy to promote the card and Oscar is fine with it because he is in the press and still getting a cut.

            • Danny! Bro it does matter who you fight. In my humble opinion you should have done like Floyd and taken a rematch against Herrera.

If he was going to fight someone with no power, Danny should have fought the GOAT, Cesar Rene Cuenca. 47 have tried, 47 have failed, and 2 of them got knocked da **** out.

                    • Bad enough you're fighting a nobody, but at least pretend you're going to attempt to sell this fight. Having just found out that Danny Garcia already beat this unranked guy in the amateurs I'm even less inclined to watch this terrible matchup than I already was.
