Even us DSG fans are joking on this bs fight. It's too weak. Especially after him getting that suspect win over Herrera. They deaded the rematch and said Danny was moving on to better things. Lol and then this fight happened.

This is not only about Danny Garcia. This is about overprotected Haymon fighters not fighting each other.

Look at the picture in the 140-147 Haymon stable:

Broner, Thurman, Maidana, Khan, Garcia, Matthysse, Lopez, Berto, Peterson, Ortiz, Alexander, Porter, Guerrero... 13 fighters. (I've excluded Malignaggi and Judah.)

Do you know the number of pairs you can make out of 13 fighters? 78 pairs. So far, fans have only seen 12 over the course of about 5 - 6 years.

Danny beats Herrera in a rematch.

They can fight scrubs all day like Collazo, Mike Dallas, John Molina and get props for it but Garcia no matter what he does is criticized. Even when he put Khan in the grave and Matthyse on ***** Street in decisive victories, people was whining and giving excuses.

It makes me think that if Garcia decided to fight Peterson or Algieri, many will be crying about a Matthyse rematch. If he rematched Herrera everyone will he crying he cherry picking. If he chose to fight Matthyse or Khan in a rematch everyone, especially their fans will be crying they don't want to see the same fight over.

Basically if you are a hated fighter, no matter what you do it doesn't matter because grown men will whine about your decision. For example, everyone is upset because Hopkins called out Kovalev and trashed him in the media, but the other day was grown men were crying that Hopkins was ducking him. Instead of showing excitement and being happy, they are upset and acting like they don't want the fight to happen now. Yet everyone is so excited for a Capperrelo match for Kovalev..

Angel Garcia said it the best in this interview with Ring Magazine "If you knock someone out early in the fight they was a bum but if the fight goes the distance then you lost the fight".
You don't have to be a WARtthysse fan to see through the BS and know that Danny boy is a hype job with an unimpressive skillset, you numpty.

I think he does too. Was watching the fight over the other night and was saying that in my head. Herrera got him in the first fight but I think Danny can beat him in a rematch. That's why I wanted them to do it but they went with Salka .

Garcia was looking on his way out against Zab in the championship rounds of their fight. Certainly not a strong showing from the champion but he hung on so it's all that matters. Herrera looked 10x fresher than Danny postmatch, and arguably beat swift. Danny has divine intervention on his side. People hate it. So let em keep hatin, maybe it'll encourage him to train harder.

I've stood behind Danny Garcia for a long time, but his choice of opponent is indefensible. His attitude about the whole thing makes it even worse. He could care less about his own legacy, or being disrespectful towards the fans and the sport as a whole with his bs. I've never seen a fighter more nonchalant about his career either. Ask him if he wants Floyd next, he answers "It's whatever." No ambition or fire there. I don't know man. I was a big fan, but I think the guy is a loser.

This right here. Plus Danny is a unified champ so a better match up is expected.

This is one of the biggest jokes fights in a while

I have no problem as a Matthysse fan saying I'm still bitter as **** that he lost to Danny ****ing Garcia. That was a cold kick to the groin. I'm having a hard time moving on because the ****ing guy lost to Herrera and is fighting Ron Salka. It's confirming that he really isn't any better than I thought he was and that Matthysse ****ing blew it.
