lol..i'll never watch wrestling...just making a point,letting the boxers dictate the rules can sometimes give unfair advantages,unless they both agreed on them,but don't change agreements of any kind at the last second...just cuz you can,doesn't make it right.

How was Floyd looking for an unfair advantage? On the All Access episode where this came up, Floyd distinctly said, "put him in the same **** I'm wearing." That sounds like as even a to playing field as it can be. Not talking about you personally. But this glove issue is exposing a lotta these cats doing all the complaining as newbies or just extremely biased. Because up until very recently, the last 5-10yrs or so, pretty much every commission mandated that both fighters had to wear the same size and brand of gloves. The biggest examples that come to mind are Floyd-DLH and Morales-Pac I. DLH made Floyd wear 10oz Reyes, where Floyd prefers Grant. Floyd was also made to wear gloves designed for heavyweights, which is why they were damn near at his elbows. Same situation happen in Jones-Ruiz. Ruiz objected to the Grants Roy wanted to wear, which matched his outfit and were made to fit his hands more comfortably. Roy ended up having to wear some designed for heavyweights, which is why they were damn near at his elbows. And in Morales-Pac I, Pac was forced to wear Winnings, instead of his preferred Reyes. This thing with gloves isn't new. It was only an issue because the commissions changed their rules to let boxers wear their perfected brand. Well, that and people lose all sense of rational when it comes to Floyd. But like I said, not too long ago Maidana wouldn't even have had an option because it was always the choice of the house fighter or defending champion which gloves both fighters were gonna wear.
