Upset? When a hard hitting and experienced veteran beats a feather fisted novice, I'd hardly call that an upset.

Same thing would happen if Pacquiao ever fought Floyd

Mark Farenas Jr. got ironed out by the hammer fist! I thought Michael would put him away in 9 but 8 felt a lot better All those punching sounds and moans won't increase your power silly Davis, dude seems to be too stubborn and above all arrogant. He kept moving to his right against a fighter whose weapon of choice and power stems from his left hand in a southpaw stance.. really? Even after his corner told him to move to the left in an attempt to evade the power Davis blew them off and would even stay in the pocket to exchange his pity pat feather duster punches against those Nuclear lefts. Good stoppage, Davis was on his way to the looney bin if it would have continued any longer.

By the way... Farenas never fought Ray Beltran.
Sorry, was supposed to be Fernando Beltran.

And it's great that you think that. But according to the sportsbooks who installed Davis as a 2-1 favorite, the end result was considered an upset.

Davis just appeared to be over-matched. I don't think any adjustments would have made much of a difference.

No but he was fighting to align himself for a title shot, he should have at the very least attempted to adjust his gameplan. However you are right, he was outmatched and outclassed...but watching a featherfisted fighter attempt to out trade a slugger is hilarious.
