I think B-Hop finds a way to make it ugly and keep the fight at his pace. Somehow or another he's gonna find a way to win a decision. Great clash of styles and one of if not the most interesting fights of the year.

I told my friend about this fight. He doesn't watch boxing .

I said "you gotta watch this boxing fight next week. a 50 year old is fighting the most violent man in boxing"

I find it amusing that many say that all that Kovalev has is just power. Many said the same thing about GGG but as fights go by there are less and less people who don't see the skills. Same thing to happen with Kovalev. Mr. Popescu gave a good description of Kovalev - Mobile power.
The only thing that worries me is that Hopkins will fake something in the way he did it in 1st Dawson fight.

I hope there's nothing fishy in this fight. Both guys have great chins too. I wonder if Kovalev can take Hopkins into deep waters, even if he doesn't get the KO?

I'm very nervous about this fight.

I have a bad feeling that Kovalev is going to be cheated in some way.

It's a Golden Boy event, and Hopkins is part owner of Golden Boy Promotions.

All four officials are from the same general area as B-Hop.

The referee David Fields will play a major role in this, because Hopkins knows he can't win without cheating with deliberate headbutts or other illegal tactics such as pretending to be fouled for a DQ.

Kovalev does have more than power, but he's not like Golovkin. Golovkin is an excellent boxer with power. Kovalev is a puncher who can box.
