Every great fighter has one last great fight in him.

This fight is going to seal the deal on Hopkins' legacy.

      Hopkins said,

"Ever since the nineties, I've been the third child in the house -- overshadowed by Roy Jones and James Toney. Now it's my time."

B-Hop's mind, body, and spirit are on point. On November eighth he's gonna put it all on the line and spark out.

        He sounds confident.

lol if he wins, fans of punchers better ready themselves for lots of "just like Matthysse, as soon as they step up they lose, Golovkin is next" comments.

I obviously don't agree but that's what it will be.

Yeah. Golovkin doesn't fight like either guy, but they don't care. The predictions aren't nearly in Kovalev's favor as they were for Matthysse, though.

Fans of punchers can always pull the "just like Adrien Broner" card on them, so it evens out.

Kovalev needs to have no respect, needs to rough him up, don't let him hold, make him uncomfortable and let his hands go.

The second he let's Hopkins get into his pace the fights over.

Grandpa by KO, with a shot Kovalev didn't see coming.

I'm wondering if Hopkins is gonna plant his feet, bite down on his mouth piece, and fight back if Kovalev cracks him.

This is Hopkins chance to shock the world.

Hopkins vs. Kovalev is Bernard's version of James Toney vs. Jirov... take some to give some and come out on top.

Does Sergey have to land clean to get Hopkins out of there? or can he just bludgeon him caveman style?

I don't think Hopkins will stand there and be bludgeoned through his guard. He will clinch if he comes under pressure like that.
