I don't really think Kovalev is a one-punch KO guy, most of his knock-out wins come from an accumulation of heavy blows.
Will he be able to hit Hopkins multiple times like that? I'm sceptical.
You can't compare those guys to Hopkins.Who do you think Hopkins has beaten that was more skillful than Kovalev? I don't see it. Kovalev is nearly impossible to contain. Campillo, who can fight, folded. Sillakh, who is quite skilled, was abused. Cleverly, a robust young kid, was owned. And I think Cleverly and Sillakh could give Hopkins all kinds of problems. Kovalev's jab alone is a serious weapon to the body, head and thrown straight off the wrong foot. He won't be standing there like a nitwit like Shumenov did. He will be probing and firing. This will be Nard's Waterloo.Comment

Jackson is probably still bitter from when B-hop whooped him.Um...I thought that John David Jackson and Bernard were...friends
? He worked with Naz in Hop's camp. Its part of the reason I had su****ions about how hard Kovalev would come at Hop. HBO 24/7 show last night, Jackson was commenting on Hop, and those were not the kind words of a friend
.
He said he's been in Hop's training sessions, and he is indeed an old man, and he wants Kovalev to knock him the F out. Was there a falling out that I wasn't aware of? I expected, you know, Hop is a legend, best man win, blah, blah. Jackson continued, hitting the nail on the head, that Hopkins' opponents get lulled to sleep in boring posing contests. He seems to want Kovalev to do more punching than posing.
Still think the fight will be a stinker, but Jackson and Kovalev seem to have the right mindset.Comment
