Or will people just say that Kov wasnt as good as he was made out to be?

Literally the only bad thing about this fight is how easy it will be for people to make excuses for the loser. Whoever wins this fight shouldn't have any credit taken from them. Yes, Hopkins is 50 and yes, Kovalev is relatively unproven, but they're 2 of the 3 best light heavyweights. Give the winner their due.

The haters already have excuses ready, but us objective fans will give credit when do. True fans know this is a test for both fighters and whoever wins will have earned it.

It comes down to Kovalev. If Kovalev actually threw punches and Hopkins STILL won, then I'll give the alien all the credit in the world. If Bhop manages to lull Kovalev to sleep and its another dull 12 rounds of posing with Hop landing the occasional pot shot to win...he gets no credit, and the blame falls on Kovalev.

Kovalev's trainer is a friend of BHop, so I'm very skeptical of this . Jackson could instruct Kovalev to play the waiting game so he doesn't drill BHop

Alright look...Kathy...$10,000....$10,000 for every round Kovalev throws more than 50 punches . Do it. The man is gonna stare at Hopkins, while eating pot shots and losing rounds, all night long. Provide some kind of extra incentive for Kovalev to extend those arms.

Pick'em fight it seems to me, very hard to predict. Whoever brings his A-game wins-- Hopkins by UD or Kovalev by KO.
