      • "Kovalev is too much for BHop"

        "Bhop is too old"

        "Kovalev by Ko"

"Bhop gunna quit on his stool..."

..............................noobs. Weren't around during the Kelly Pavlik terror ah? I pick B-Hop based on one thing. History. This is what Hopkins does in these kind of fights. The man gets it done when he is not supposed to against who he's not supposed to. I won't bet against him on a big fight again until history gives me reason to think otherwise. He's adapted to his age and has mastered fighting in this version of his body. When he was getting old and transitioning his game he had trouble against young athletic fighters but sinse he has found his groove and i think he can pull it off!

Hopkins has lost big fights numerous times though.

Yeah I don't get why people are acting like Hopkins hasn't lost in 20 years or something.

Hopkins however was 29 when he won his first title.

So my point is that's the difference when comparing the longevity of the two.

Hopkins is much older than both Floyd and Pacquaio but he hasn't been fighting at the top level too much longer than either of them.
Still doesn't change the fact that he is almost 50, and has had 60+ bouts, over 40 of them coming at championship level. He has been a pro for 24 years (not counting his first fight) and has been fighting at championship level for 21 of those years.

So again, your point makes no sense because it is nonsensical. Try again

Soul, Don't bother debating with a guy whose most posts in the past week have been geared towards talking negative about Hopkins' resume.

But he has only lost to the very best and beaten some of the very best and what he has done post-Calzaghe, a time when most felt he was shot, is remarkable. Two titles at LHW, lenial champion and now on the verge of unifying 3 of the 4 major belts in the division.
