All these Golovkin fans want Canelo to move up to 160, but they're nowhere to be found as soon as someone mentions moving up to 168 to fight Ward.

Then they have the nerve to say Golovkin put the fear in the Canelo or Canelo is ducking Golovkin.

Which one is the duck between the two - A 30 year old Olympic champion in Golovkin calling out everyone from 154 to 168, then rebuking that statement as soon as WARD calls him out. Not to mention be only willing to move up to fight at 168, but only if it's against Chavez Jr.

Or the 22 year old Canelo, with little amateur experience who's never called out anyone at 160, and wants to stay at 154 where he feels comfortable. Funnily enough the younger professional with less amateur experience has an even better resume than Golovkin.

    LMAO.

He crushed Canelo too. What's your point?

This isn't about Mayweather. It's about Canelo (and slightly about Cotto.)

The fact that they nth got crushed by Mayweather is even more telling that they both belong in the ring together,

      RIGHT! ? RIGHT!? RIGHHHT!?

Canelo knows whats waiting for him up there. Hes gonna have to move up sooner rather than later. Unless he plans on missing weight.

What is with fans wanting guys to move up every time they get a big win anyway? Crawford beat Gamboa "OH HE SHOULD MOVE UP TO 147!"

Also laughable at trying to get undersized Welterweights to move all the way up to 160, these guys are naturally SMALLER GUYS, Bradley, Pacquiao Mayweather, either of them should be fighting past 147 to be honest, they are only 5'6-5'8

154 has plenty of talent for him to fight
The problem is that Canelo isn't fighting at 154 anymore. He wants to fight Light Middleweights at 155/156. He couldn't make weight against Angulo and his team reached an agreement behind the scenes to make it look like he didn't miss weight.
He never wanted to fight Lara at 154 either and used the bull**** WBA 'regular' belt as an excuse, even though he fought for it against Trout in a "unification" fight. There are pros and cons in his situation: if you want to face smaller figthters, you have to make weight and take the risk to weaken your body. You can't have it both ways.

He's not fighting at 154 anymore though. Take your post and throw it in the trash.

Same could be said for Golovkin, who's feasting on unworthy opponents instead of moving up to 168.

Moreover, at least Canelo is involved in competitive fights. Can't say the similar for Golovkin.
