Half of the fight I was "jab jab!" And every time it connected "keep jabbing!" Lol

I dont think you wanna do that vs someone like Floyd. Its no guarantee and if he fails?

Yea but what's so exciting about Maidana connecting his jab is that it sets up other punches and it helps him close that distance, you could tell Maidana loved fighting inside where Floyd was uncomfortable, if Maidana can stay on him like that again but with more violence and force, Floyd may eat the canvas.

I don't think it's going to happen. In order for Maidana to take Floyd, he's going to need to learn how to connect with that Jab more consistently, and he's got to develop some faster footwork. Otherwise, Floyd will run away and choose his time and place to potshot Maidana.

i don't see the fight being much different than last time.

Maidana gave everything of himself last time out and barely lost by a point...I just don't think Maidana has any more to give but Floyd can still adapt, I think he beats him and beat him well this time, the fight is all wrong for Maidana.

Edit: why is there an option for Floyd to win by KO...lol come on now

I remember after round one or two I thought I heard Floyd say "he's tired" cause Maidana unleashed on his ass. Also sounded like he watched the Broner fought and thought Maidana gassed like he did in that fight. You could see it on Floyd's face, he genuinely struggled. I think his plan was to fatigue Maidana and did not work.

Maidana's jab landed almost at will when he threw it, brawski. What he needs to do it is use it MORE.

Asked if there was anything that surprised him about Chino, Floyd said his jab. That jab will be key and will set up the money punches. I think Maidana has a better chance of catching Mayweather while both are in the middle of the ring or when Floyd is backing up toward the ropes then when Floyd is actually on the ropes.

While it didn't land at will, it was effective and wCompuBox stats aren't my cup of tea.

Don't try to shift the Goalpost. You were wrong.

Nevertheless, Maidana's Jab was effective - it disrupted Floyd's timing and allowed Maidana to set up other shots. However, that Jab did not score consistently, nor was it stinging enough to rattle Floyd (i.e., consistently snap his head back).

A man with fast feet and a good Jab can make Floyd eat jabs all fight long.
