I believe that maidana can upset him with a body shot straight to the liver and staying active, by the way if you want to get cleto reyes equipment at a great price email me at adamsboxing@gmail.com
I completely disagree with your assessment of the fight. That type of talk from Mayweather is to hype up the fight, whoever falls for it is truly naive. Also, IF Ariza is working with him and it wasn't a one day thing, then they just started a couple of days ago; not nearly enough time to make a significant change.
LOL, Mayweather is not going for the KO. That coward doesn't have the courage or the balls to attempt that. It's all hype... he is going into this fight with the sole purpose of outclassing and outboxing Maidana. And if the KO comes, then it comes. That's his mentality, to think otherwise would be idiotic considering his history.
He isn't stopping Maidana, there is no way in hell he even HURTS Maidana.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that he almost knocked Maidana out, stunned or buckled him. I'm merely pointing out that the punch did enough to make him back away. Maidana isn't Golovkin.

I think Maidana's, perhaps, last thing to pick up in his toolbox(given the TYPE of fighter he is. People[not Loaded Wraps and Syf and Golovkin and the other Maidana Fanaticos] are always trying to fault him for not being Rigondeaux.) is to disguise his pain. He grimaces when he's hit. He overreacts all the time in fights. But people take too much from him wincing or screwing up his face. Mayweather, in contrast, is one of the ATGs in disguising what's actually happening for him physically in the ring. Nobody will ever really know if he was hurt fighting Hatton, if he was hurt in the ring against Castillo, Augustus, Judah, Mosely, or Maidana. Who really knows? He's so f###ing good at hiding pain that everyone has to pretty much guess what he was feeling at whatever little freeze frame moments they choose to turn into a GIF. Mayweather's ability to watch the fight as it's happening is like a savant. Sometimes it seems like he's watching himself simultaneously as one of the judges, a youtube boxing fan and some neophyte girl who came to the fight with her new boyfriend- you can find moments in all his fights that catch the eye of any of those type of fans- expert, hardcore fan and newbie. Maidana's not like that.
Same thing with the knockdowns. Sure, Maidana was floored by a prime, bigtime hitting Ortiz but a lot of the other knockdowns were just balance issues that he's worked on with Garcia. I mean, Kovalev had a flash knockdown in his last fight but it meant almost nothing. If Golovkin had a similar moment against Rubio it would mean just about nothing.
I personally think that Maidana is probably more durable, tougher- how ever you want to put it- than Golovkin but.... it'd be impossible to measure.
That moment that Karceno highlights(and I'm a fan of his too, if not quite as high on Mayweather as he is) is a good moment for Mayweather. It was a technical moment though- it wasn't Hagler making Hearns turn his back. I just don't think he was hurt there. Maidana hasn't really been given enough credit recently for the information he's put out there in the media. He fought Mayweather and said he's not that good. There's no reason to think he's been lying. Everything about his character, personality says otherwise. Chino said Mayweather has no power. He said it to trash talk. But he was telling the truth.
