How can people continue to underestimate Chino? How is it even possible? He doesn't have to be your favorite fighter to get props. I don't think Lara is the most entertaining fighter to watch but I think he's an amazing athlete. Seems pretty simple to give somebody a fair shot against another fighter when they've shown they've earned those kind of odds.

Maidana has a somewhat or slightly better than a 'fair' shot to win(25-40%? 40% if Marcos comes in the best shape of his life.) because fans at the MGM will be screaming for him to win. The judges have heard Kellerman and others say the fight was about a tie and they'll have that in the back of their collective minds. Marcos will have gotten used to the sparring gloves in camp so they won't be an issue. Even if he can't cut and maim with the MX gloves he can still land to the body. Floyd can change tactics but there's no tactic that turns you into your 25 year old self. The move, at one point in the fight, where Floyd was able to blind Marcos with a jab and then turn Marcos and go to his body will not be too repeatable for Floyd because he'll be too tired. Floyd will come forward, get hit, go backward and hold. Marcos will feint and jab, get hit coming in and go to the body.

I think the fight could have some bizarre swings- like, they both trade rounds throughout the fight with the last round being the decider, or Floyd gets dropped twice but still wins, or Chino almost wins a decision but gets disqualified for some idiotic reason. Or Mayweather gets DQ'd rather than lose e.g. Roy vs Montell Griffin. Or it's stopped on a headbutt and everyone complains about Chino losing and they never fight again. But it'll be another 7-5 round type fight.

I've followed Chino since he came to America vs Ortiz. At the time I remember commenting to my girlfriend that 1) I wasn't that impressed with Ortiz, and 2) Argentinian with little international experience or not, Chino looked like a pretty serious dude. I was hooked after that. I signed up to the site because of the smack Broner fans were talking. With that being said, when the Floyd fight was announced, I though Chino's tendency to fixate and follow would get him a resounding 'L'. I hoped he'd do what he did, but I didn't think it would happen. Chino's still not the best ring general, but since then I've become convinces that awkward power with volume is the kryptonite of the shoulder roll (especially behind a lead in jab, even if it misses). Basically, when you try to roll that **** and anticipate, you get rolled up and put on the ropes. If Floyd wants to win this he better stay on his toes (, and start aging backwards)... It's not like Chino's going to be worse this time around, that he'll accept being Devoned, or that he won't make additional adjustments...

That's not true. Mayweather said ahead of the fight that he will go toe-to-toe with Maidana. In the rematch Floyd will what he does best, stay off the ropes and move all night.

Is this your first Floyd fight or fight you've seen? Floyd and every fighter say things like that before fights. If you saw the fight at all it's painfully obvious he wasn't having a fun time in there. Floyd is probably the last fighter you would see sitting inside and taking punishment for the fans or anyone, he personafies hit or be hit, that's why he's the best in the game.

We'll see how the rematch will turn out, but I don't think Maidana will win 5 rounds like he did in the first encounter.

Me either, I think he will win 7 or 8.

I think Mayweather will win 9 or 10. Looking forward to see the fight.
