funny that he considers himself the best, but has to call canelo to fight him. if he was the best in the division aka mayweather, everybody and their momma would be calling lara out for the crown not the other way around. i feel for him though. too match but his in for it too. canelo has some extra motivation for this one.

You mistake skills with star power both things are not equal. Obviously Canelo is a bigger star, and Lara wants to whip him to get that check that comes from beating a popular diva, but that sure as **** doesn't mean he is better. Dont worry thats a common rookie mistake, i see it all the time.

I don't think the weight is the main issue. I think the 155lb was so it wouldn't be a Title fight. And the reason you don't want a title fight in Canelo's camp. Is because, If you fight for a title and you lose there is no chance for a rematch, being that Lara is the champ with the belt and Canelo is coming in with nothing. If you don't fight for a title, then a rematch clause can be in the contract being that it will now be just a regular match. I mean when have you ever seen someone challenge a champion for his belt, lose and then get a rematch.. Like why would a champion have to defend his title twice against a normal opponent whom he just beat.. Giving someone 2 chances to take a belt from you doesn't sound right... So maybe the 155lb is just so there would be a rematch... Just a thought of mine.. What do you guys think?

Lara schools Canelo in a one-decided decision as long as he boxes. Canelo has been overhyped and can only fight one-dimensional guys. Canelo barely beat Trout, looked gassed, and only fights half of every round. Lara will make it look easier than Mayweather. Lara will fight for 3 minutes and box circles around the hype job.
