I know some posters here think that boxers running their mouths should be part of the promotion. I always think that is good for wrestling but nor for boxing. I expect fighters make their statements with their fists and not their mouths And that is why I hope Alvarez doesn't engage in all this trash leaving it only to Lara and his promoter. I just want to see who is the best coming fight night and I really don't care if Mayorga or other trash talkers bring high ratings to their fights. Writers also should be more ethical and report only on relevant issues.

So many opinions of how this fight goes. All I see is Lara is the better boxer, busier, takes a good shot, has good solid power when he connects solid, is accurate... lotta good qualities. Canelo has alot going for him too, but then he is bewildered when a good boxer starts up on him. Floydie practically produced a shutout vs Canelo. Not saying Lara is Floydie, but I think Lara would do better vs Floydie than Canelo did. Looking forward to a great fight.

It doesn't seem like it. He's most likely just talking ****. Ronnie Shields sees Canelo as a real threat; so I doubt he'll go in there overconfident and unprepared.

Fighters don't sleep on the biggest fights of their careers. They sleep on tune ups. IE Garcia vs Herrera, Floyd vs Maidana. And both went wrong.

Weight and Stamina could be an issue with Canelo, especially if he is struggling to make 155.
