Francesco Pianeta, 6'4" 240lbs ripped like no boxer of the past, 28 straight wins undefeated many by KO coming off wins against 2 former HW champs and an opponent with a better record than Chuvalo himself whom he KOed in 1 round. Pianeta is classified a bum and WK a bum beater for facing such a "weak" opponent.

Please note, WK destroyed Pianeta, Ali struggled with Chuvalo!

Karl Mildenberger 6'1" 195lb cruiser, 30% featherfist KO ratio, earning his shot by beating 182lb cruiser 13-9 bum. Ali is again lauded and goes on to call him "AN EVEN TOUGHER OPPONENT THAN FRAZIER!"

Mariusz Wach, 250lbs, 27 straight wins undefeated, coming off a KO win over 6'8" 256lbs muscular 49-4 Tye Fields. Wach is labelled a bum, WK a bum beater despite being outtalled, outreached and outweighed as well.

Please note, WK completely outclassed Wach but Ali struggled with Mildenberger.

THIS is the sort of moronic comparisons made, and these are considered 2 of the WORST WK opponents! And this period fighters of Ali were considered his VINTAGE prime!
    LMAO!!

You're owning it right now, undoubtedly their is a lot of double standards from media outlets to the fans buying into the media propaganda.

I just don't get why people can't call things like it is?

"How many HOFs did he fight"
Another ****** thing to ask, what does it mean when plenty of boxers who shouldn't be inducted get inducted...
What is the criteria to being inducted into the HOF and exactly at the time when Ali fought this HOFers were they in the HOF?
    NO...

    Unfair thing to ask.

Partially because there is too much exageration. Pianeta is not ripped more than ... oh Norton for example. Secondly bulking up muscle via lifting weights does not make you a better boxer.

His resume is trash, only 4 b level fighters are on it. The rest of them are c/d level or even below.

He carries the sport of boxing in a great manner with respect unlike many others who affiliate themselves with known drug cheats.

Perhaps some of those would have become HOFers if they hadn't been dominated by Wlad. Perhaps a few still will (Haye, who is coming back soon, Povetkin, etc).

Who gets into the IBHOF is a just matter of opinion anyway. There are some better HWs among Wlad's opponents than some of those who are in IBHOF.

How many PRIME IBHOFers did Larry Holmes, Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson or many other supposedly "great" heavyweights beat? If Wlad had beaten a faded Holyfield or faded Tyson, would that have made his resume greater?

I agree, Manny Pacquiao is the greatest of this era.

But Wlad is easily the greatest heavyweight and definitely one of the greatest fighters.

                    Not really...

Its different if an old fighter still has it in him then that fight makes sense like the fight that Joe Calzaghe had with Bhop that was/is a very good win for Joe but the RJJ win was pointless similar to people wanting the K bros to fight past it fighters who were once good but no longer.
