    Gamboa v Donaire

Will this ever happen now? For a while, this was one of the best prospective fights in the division , at the time Gamboa was a beast at featherweight whereas Donaire was below at bantam/super bantam. So what happened? I know Gamboa shot himself in the foot by leaving Arum and bouncing around in weight.

Personally, if Donaire can convince in future fights at featherweight, I can see this being a hot prospect again at 130lb, with Gamboa obviously having to move down and Donaire up. Maybe a catch weight of 128lb? This is a BIG money fight for both guys.

    What do yall think?

Forget a catchweight. Either fight at 130 lbs. or not at all. The fight would be interesting. It doesn't make much sense in terms of the rankings but in terms of a money fight I can see it being profitable. What else do both fighters have to do at this point?

I honestly think Gamboa brutalizes Donaire.

He's the much better fighter as well as bigger, faster, stronger and harder hitting.

no its not. Donaire needs to concentrate to cleaning out 126, not move up

I just can't trust Gamboa's chin. He's clearly a more talented fighter than Donaire though.

If Gamboa stays disciplined, he'd school Donaire.

Who cares about 126? Donaire is more than capable of going to 130. His power I think would still be enough to clean Gamboa's clock at 130.
