Shortboa did a good job making it a fight. I knew he would get stopped but he didn't look outclassed.Comment

I agree with you fam. If gamboa chose to just pick his opponents off and fight from the outside he might be more boring but he would be pretty hard to beat. Pretty much fight the way he fought Crawford for the first 4 rounds but a little more cautiousComment

Great fight. Gamboas reckless fighting and his weak chin let him down.Everytime Gamboa got reckless Crawford hurt him. Gamboa just wide open getting hit by big clean shots and he just couldn't take those shots from Crawford.Comment

Sometimes fights that are expected to be chess matches turn into wars and this fight exceeded expectations! Crawford added excitement to his game to complete himself as a top fighter. Gamboa just needs more training discipline to get down to 130 where he would be more successful but he also needs to learn how to be more cognizant of his defense and not bull rush. He bull rushes when he is not confident of getting past the reach of his opponent with a more natural movement to the inside due to his lack of reach.Last edited by richardt; 06-28-2014, 11:25 PM.Comment

Exactly!!!!!As I say over and over and over again. The ability to ADJUST is EASILY the most important attribute in the sport. Not speed, not timing, not power, the IQ to adjust to your opponents ability your opponents positive and come out on top. It's not easiy to do, but once you have that ability you are nigh unbeatable.Comment
