Fighters only fighting twice a year

It's becoming more and more common and I don't like it one bit, especially guys like Thurman and Porter.

I understand none of the big name guys want to fight my man Thurman but he should be fighting 3/4 times a year if it's gonna be against weaker opposition.

Porter has had one fight this year and his next one will be against Brook in September, so he probably can't fit another fight into 2014 after that.

These guys are young and fresh, they should be fighting as often as possible and trying to make a name for themselves.

I can understand it for a 37 year old Mayweather, even though he's been doing that since he was younger which is bogus. I can't understand it for a 25 year old champion. Atleast Canelo is fighting 3 times a year. Everyone should be fighting every 3 months! Period! 4 times a year for my entertainment!

but yeah man it really sucks, Thurman told me on twitter he wanted to be back in July/August, so something's definitely wrong.
