Lara chose to fight off the ropes (Shell up and let Angulo tire himself). A fighter with faster feet couldn't get him on the ropes. Vanes. Angulo wasn't cutting the ring off either. He kept following.
If Lara doesn't want to be on the ropes he won't be on the ropes.

I won't dispute that, but it doesn't take away from the rare, first-hand observations of a professional fighter. It's one thing to make observations on a TV screen, it's another to actually experience what's happening. To paraphrase George Chuvalo on fighting Ali: "You see him on TV and see he's fast. But when you're standing in front of him, it's like, 'Oh, my...oh, my, my, my, my...."Comment
