There's no doubt, I was concerned Lara was gonna get KOed by a slow-ass glorified journeyman. But I was also impressed that Landy rose from the canvass twice to make that same hard-hitting, tough journeyman quit.
Whatever the actual cause of Perro's "injury" was, the fact remains that he turned his back after getting punched in the face and thereby forfeited the fight. Angulo was not tackled, or thrown to the mat. He didn't throw out his back or his shoulder. He was punched repeatedly in the face, as evidenced by his grotesque facial disfigurement.

I don't know what else to say. If someone has their nose broken or suffers a facial fracture, they would also be quitting due to "injury". That was some serious punishment Perro obviously took, but you prefer to look at it as if Lara had nothing to do with it.

Ok thats all right im not arguing that **** at all. I think the Magomed fight should have been stopped the dude had a broken nose, but kept on fighting because that guy was too ballsy to quit. I never argued if he felt like it hurt that bad as it did he shouldn't quit not once. All i said is i have seen that injury before and was no scratched damn cornea, and even more importantly than any **** i seen before or say it's the fact that all the doctors that examined him including an eye specialist all there damit all quoted on that press release released by them all concluded he only had a contusion sir which was that massive ass swelling,ergo the cornea horse that has been beat to death is bull****.

Lara chose to fight off the ropes (Shell up and let Angulo tire himself). A fighter with faster feet couldn't get him on the ropes. Vanes. Angulo wasn't cutting the ring off either. He kept following.

If Lara doesn't want to be on the ropes he won't be on the ropes.

I never said that either but you can't downplay the fact injuries don't play into the conclusion of a fight. Lara's victory would hold more value if he would have just stopped him in that way, without the knockdowns. But unbiased fans know the injury was big role. He knocked the guy down twice for the first time in his career and was hurting him to the body and head. I sincerely believe lara took more physical punishment overall but the eye injury is an overkill but overall I bet lara's whole body was in pain the next day, including his head.
