If Canelo chooses to box the way he boxed against Trout and Mayweather I see him losing clearly. He needs to be a pressure fighter and he's shown only glimpses of this style, I don't think it's in his make-up. Unless his feet get twice as fast I don't know how he could outbox Lara but they are fighting at 155 and maybe he'll have more gas in his tank to apply more pressure.

Not really. Canelo is more of a boxer puncher. Angulois a face first brawler. If canelo does not mind eating the shots Angulo took to land his shots then yeah he will land like Angulo did.

But like I said canelo does not have that mentality. He will box lara and although he will not get hit as much as Angulo did, he will also find it hard to land on lara.

Let me ask you this. Why couldn't marquez land **** on mayweather yet maidana who is not as good a boxer as marquez could?

So you really think lara was the one hurting angulo all night? or in the back of your mind when you were watching the fight were you like "thank god, a journeyman was on his way to beating Lara.

There's no doubt, I was concerned Lara was gonna get KOed by a slow-ass glorified journeyman. But I was also impressed that Landy rose from the canvass twice to make that same hard-hitting, tough journeyman quit.
Whatever the actual cause of Perro's "injury" was, the fact remains that he turned his back after getting punched in the face and thereby forfeited the fight. Angulo was not tackled, or thrown to the mat. He didn't throw out his back or his shoulder. He was punched repeatedly in the face, as evidenced by his grotesque facial disfigurement.

I don't know what else to say. If someone has their nose broken or suffers a facial fracture, they would also be quitting due to "injury". That was some serious punishment Perro obviously took, but you prefer to look at it as if Lara had nothing to do with it.
