Abner Mares, a three-time world champion in different divisions, says he learned a lot from last year's fight against Jhonny Gonzalez, who simultaneously snatched his undefeated record and his World Boxing Council Crown with a first round TKO.

Mares will be part of the card held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 12th. He'll be facing Puerto Rican, Jonathan Oquendo.

Virgil hunter is by FARRRRRRRR the most overrated trainer. Ward and khan both could win most of their fights in talent alone as they are two of the best pure boxers, but everyone else he trains gets demolished. Worse than that, he never madness adjustments in between rounds all he's good at is motivational speaking.

What was said? In recent interviews both Mares and Jhonny arent going at each others throats. In fact, when they asked Jhonny if h was being ducked by Mares he rejected the thought. He said he was waiting for Mares to return to himself after suffering such heavy loss. He also said he was willing to face him once before, he is sure once Marez is back to feeling 100 and regains full confidence, he will be there for him. Mares has also said he wants a comeback fight and then go after his rematch. They seem to have mutual respect for eachother.
