Yeah actually, I think your memory is failing you, let me refresh it. This was all around the time Mayweather was heading to jail and got it postponed which eventually led to the Cotto fight. This was imfamously known as the time when Arum panicked and came up with abunch of excuses like "We dont even know if the court will let him fight" "Pacquiao's eye hasnt healed and he cant start sparring till April" "Ugh! there isnt enough time to build an outdoor stadium in vegas for the fight!" This all happened... this was the ONLY time Mayweather has ever pressed for a Pacquiao fight, THEN he offered the 40 mil, Pacquiao turned it down and mayweather had his court date where he HAD to announce his next fight so that the court could approve his sentence wbeing postponed and he announced the Cotto fight, Pacquiao's eye was suddenly recovering at a quicker pace and he headed up fighting like a month before mayweather lol. I blame Arum during this episode of rivarly. but you never hear about this. its just Mayweather bashing. To Pacquiao fanatics, this never happened.

Arum himself said the fight could be anywehre from 500k to 750k and the word is Mayweather-Maidana is 800k up, where did I claim to have a source and pass this as fact? Im stating what we ALL heard, I think my point was pretty clear when I said all the Pacquiao fans heard 500k-750k and automatically said "Oh! the fight did 750k!" when that wasnt actually the case, didnt say its not the truth.
U misunderstood me, I said we have yet to hear from a reputable source to confirm both #'s. Pac's #'s is said to be from 500-750k meaning it could be 500k or 530 or 600 or maybe even 750. We won't know for sure, so I used ur logic back at u regarding Floyd's #'s which is said to be 800k or up. Again that's just a number that was thrown out just like what they did with manny so I'm asking u how do we know for sure that's really the real amount. U're here saying just because they say anywhere from 500-750k doesn't mean PAC made 750k so I'm asking u the same for Floyd.

Paragraphs bro, and arum counter with $55 flat fee for Floyd, this was after Floyd made the $40 mil offer to pac so what are u talking about my timeline is off.

I think both fighters get full credit even at this point of their careers with a victory over the other. I think pacquiao fanatics are only saying its an asterisk because in their hearts and from what they see, they truly believe Pacquiao has become beatable for mayweather now when in reality all that happened is pacquiao got caught by a man that has given him hell for the past decade, he didnt get laid out by some unknown bum or something. Both fighters get full credit, just because the fight isnt as desirable as it was before doesnt mean a victory taste any less sweet, people get confused with desire and credibility.

Im on a phone, I cant space for some reason but whatever. I never heard of this 55mil flat fee that Arum offered, I might have missed it, do you have a link? because you can find everything that Im saying and yes your timeline was off, because you made it seem like Pacquiao came on ESPN the next day after Mayweather offered the 40mil and said he accepted all terms when it wasnt till months later during an ESPN segment already building up to the 4th fight with Pacquiao and Marquez... thats important to note and you seemed to realize it and backtracked and said "Wasnt Pacquiao, it was Arum" or something along those lines..

Oh I have no agenda here.. I honestly have no idea what mayweather's numbers are, and Im aware of all the numbers but I dont really care because Im just a fan of the sport not their accountants lol. If you truly arent bias do you have to sorta agree with me that if they say Pacquiao did 500k-750k and that Mayweather did 700k-1Mil... Pacquiao fanatics will say "Pacquiao did 750k!" and say "LOL MAYWEATHER ONLY DID 700k! HAHA" Thats usually how it goes around here..

correction, it was $45 flat fee not $55. and bro, i wasnt talking about pac called floyd's bluff of $40mil when he went on epsn, im talking more like calling floyd's bluff to fight. the ball was in pac's court prior to pac going on espn, so he threw it back to floyd by saying he has agreed to all of floyd's demand and he has agreed to take less.

exactly! u have no idea what floyd's #'s were but yet u're on here talking about just because they said pac did anywhere from 500-750k doesnt mean he actually did 750k. so just beause they said floyd did anywhere from 800k up doesnt mean he actually did those #'s. clear enough? and regarding ur last sentence the same can be said about floyd fans. if they say floyd did anywhere from 700-1mil, is the floyd fans gonna say oh floyd really only did 700k? GTFOH LOL!

Alright gotcha. Misunderstanding on that part then. I see the link and the difference here is that Mayweather makes damn near close to 40mil as it is fighting nobodies, his purse would be much larger if he fought Pacquiao, the flat fee of 40mil for Pacquiao made sense because he hasnt/wouldnt/wont make anything close to that ammount from here on out fighting anyone... outside of an exclusive network deal that would net him that much money which he JUST signed. Im not trying to take sides but it doesnt make sense for Mayweather to accept a flat fee.. The say cant be said for Pacquiao, his biggest purse was what, 17 mil?

I cannot agree more and applaud Holyfield yet again for his perceptive qualities which are almost always right on the money!!
