  • If the money and drug testing protocol is right, in sure Floyd would fight him. He fought and "indestructible 23yr Mexican monster, future of boxing" canelo when everyone also thought canelo would beat Floyd. Pac should've taken the 40 mils, now he's being Floyd offers him that again. I'm sure he'll take it with no hesitation. Truth is Floyd offer pac a 50/50 split after Floyd best JMM but pac refused the drug test. Pac has fallen off since while Floyd still on top. No way pac deserves 50/50 or even 45/55 split now.

Even at this stage where I think Floyd would be the slight* favourite, he won't take the risk. 5 years ago Pac would've beaten Floyd for sure, now I think it's 55/45 in favour of Floyd, but he wants to wait longer, the longer they wait, the more the tide turns in Floyd's favour. He's waiting until Pac is on a crutches.
This is what I'm saying! Thank you! Pac is more physical boxer than Floyd is and 4 years ago he had no ***** chance to win against prime Pac. I appreciate Floyd for his unbelievable skills but comme on, you have to be a hardcore Floyd groupie or a member of his familly not to admit it...

Lofty conspiracy theory? If it were lofty it wouldn't be a conspiracy. Lofty goals, lofty dreams and aspirations; but not lofty conspiracy. You must have missed some English courses because you wouldn't be using the word lofty as an adjective for conspiracy theory if you hadn't. Or maybe that's just part of the MORE that you've forgotten. Lol...

"Pacquiao isnt his own boss, I'm my own boss"

"Pacquiao is 2-2 in his last 4 fights"

Like what the fack has all that got to do with fighting Pac?

                  • Saying your health comes first, bringing up drug testing for the first time, having your father say he fears for your life if you fight Pacman, etc. should be enough to tell you the man is scared.

                    • I don't think he's scared of Pac, certainly not the current version (as opposed to the 2009 peak version, who I also don't think he was "scared" of).

It's a range of factors, IMHO:

                      - He doesn't want the hassle of it all - dealing with Arum during a promotion, with the Pacturts - when he can make huge money just fighting people who are almost grateful he has picked them.

                      - He doesn't want Pacquiao and Arum making big money off of him. He's never quite grasped the idea that a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight would be a huge event due to the star power of BOTH of them. That $40m offer so often cited by Flowmos was a low-ball offer at the time and Manny would have been ******ed to have accepted it (at the time). Also, by making this (lowball) offer himself, he was still somehow in control, knowing he would be raking in probably 3 times as much as that. As 50 Cent once said, he is obsessed by how only how much money HE makes but others too. Especially someone like Pacquiao.

                      - His own control freakery, which really want the above points are above. He doesn't want to cede any control. He's at a point in his life where he couldn't really handle someone else getting a lot of the shine during a fight promotion. Those days are over.

Ultimately, what it comes down to is Floyd being a b*tch. A stable, emotionally secure individual would make this fight but Floyd isn't that, even as he nears 40 years of age. Whether that is worse than being "scared" is down to your own feelings.
