Dont assume they are my favorite fighters, cause they are not. How does ANYONE know how these fights are going to turn out. Man i am happy i just watch the fights in the ring instead thinking I know whats going to happen. I subscribe to HBO & Shotime for boxing, everyhing else is extra. I will be happy to watch boxing on August 9th, cause I have no crystal ball on what will take place. Im going to enjoy my favorite sport. if the fights suck after the fact, I will complain (possibly), but if they turn out great, thats even better.

Just thought about something, over the past 3-4 years, when was Garcia NOT in a competitive or good fight?

This is an absolutely atrocious card, everyone agrees. However, anyone with any objectivity whatsoever has to find it comical that the people being most critical of the card are diehard TR nuthuggers who defend Manny undercards like their child is in danger.

Serious question. Why would you cancel Shotime when they give you more fights, more new fighters than any other station? So you are going to miss Antoine Douglas on July 25th?

I will be watching cause this is my favorite sport.
I am not happy and I won't be watching these crappy fights. You talk about their past opposition as if that justifies them fighting stiffs. What fans want and expect is for them to take a page from Floyd Mayweather's playbook. Whether you like him or hate him, anyone on this message board who has any sense must admit that Floyd Mayweather has consistently fought the best fighter available in the last eight years. He may not have fought the person that fans wanted him to fight, but he has fought A-level competition in the last eight years. He has not had a Brandon Rios on his scheduled since his first fight at welterweight against Sharmba Mitchell.

He had a tough fight against Maidana, but you can bet he won't be taking a breather in his next fight. He will be fighting another boogeyman. Even though fans on this message board criticize him like he is the worst person in the world, they want every fighter to take a page from his playbook and fight the best A-level fighters available.

Who the hell is Salka, Santana, and Fletcher?
I am waiting on someone who posts on this message board to notice that, with the exception of Floyd Mayweather, GBP and Al Haymon only put their best fighters in the ring against each other every two to three years.

Just like wine not all fights are created equal, if one enjoys fine wine it doesn't mean he will drink or purchase any bottle that's adverstised to him as such. The problem with this fight and this entire event is that it is being advertised to the public as something that it is not which is the best fighting the best. There are far more proven boxers in each of the fighter's that are being showcased divisions that desserve shots at these world titles, and these same proven fighters don't take on soft touches or breaks, instead they go out and prove themselves tough fight after tough fight in the hopes of getting a shot at a world title.

I'm sure you enjoy boxing as much as anyone else on this website but just because you enjoy it doesn't mean you have to eat up everything they try to feed you. You have the right to demand better but to each their own.

He is just a nice nice nice young prospect. he has been on ShoBox 2 or 3 times and everytime he is on their he is very impressive. He is the main event on July 25th card. Check him out.

He throws too many power punches sometimes, but he seems very heavy handed.

Cant find the whole Marquis Davis fight, but he knocked Davis tooth out. LOL
