August 9th Showtime Boxing Card is a disgrace!

How do you or anyone know a fight wont be competitive? I dont get why people complain about stuff they dont like. You have no idea how any fight will turn out. NONE. You can be unhappy he/they are not fighting some a-level fighter, but you dont know how any of the fights will turn out or if they will be competitive.

(Funny I dont hear any complaining when it comes to certain fighters or certain fighters under certain promotion brands. Never hear this in regards to Golovkin, guys just want to see him knock people out).

It doesn't matter if the fight will be competitive or not, there's guys out there that are way more deserving of a title shot! I was a big Danny supporter until he pulled this crap. I'd rather see him face Peterson, Postol, Provo anyone but this guy. He's done nothing worth noting and hasn't even faced top 10 opposition or is even ranked highly. What part of that don't YOU understand?

But this shouldnt even be happening. Why isnt Jacobs fighting Kid Chocolate? Why isnt Garcia facing Peterson? Those are fights that should be happening but instead we get some guys that sounds like they were plucked from some basement gym somewhere.

See, i dont know, but I dont hope/wish for a certain fight to happen, cause when it doesnt it just leads to being hurt and disappointment. Besides Jacobs, both peterson and Garcia have pretty much been fighting top comp for 3-5 years straight. Am i happy they are fighting these guys? No. But I am not unhappy cause I watch the fights in the ring. Never know how things will play out.

It is better than paying for a ****ty Top Rank PPV cards which is pretty much Top Rank has been feeding us for months.

Top Rank's last two PPV Top Rank undercards were actually even fights, not mismatches.

Lets see, I get to see Danny Jacobs fight again. i get to see Lamont Peterson after his nice last performance/fight, I get to see if Garcia can come back after his bad performance (I thought everyone has one bad fight, and can have one lesser opponent), I get to see Sadam Ali again hopefully, get to possibly see Anthony Peterson again, and maybe even see Ochoa again. I will be watching enjoying my boxing, drink in hand.

If you enjoy watching what I pressume are your favorite fighters engage in soft sparring sessions then just check them out on youtube or show up to one of their media workouts. You don't need to subscribe to a premium network or purchase expensive tickets to a non-event to witness that.

Golovkin is ducked by everybody. Who would duck Peterson and Garcia? These two are clearly the duckers. Apple and chicken. Go and disappear.

Garcia is two fights removed from fighting the "Boogeyman." Who is ducking? Petersons resume over the past 4-5 years has been solid, and he also fought the "Boogeyman." Who is he ducking. Happy im not like you, I just care about in ring fights, and would NEVER say someone is ducking. If you not happy, why complain or talk about it, dont watch. I will be watching cause this is my favorite sport.

Ok, i spoke on the fact you stated that you want competitive fights, and i stated, you/us/we have no clue how the fight will turn out. Of course we always want the number one versus number 2 guy, OF COURSE. I understand what you are saying about not facing anyone, but doesnt garcia get a chance to get his game back in order after his disappointing performance against herrera? Look, all i am saying is, garcia could lay another egg, Peterson could get touched up, Jacobs could be a brawl. we dont know any of this until they get in the ring, which is where th fight takes place.

I agree. Peterson and Garcia should be fighting each other and Jacobs should be fighting Quillen. Golden Boy, Al Haymon and Top Rank have mastered the art of feeding fans bullsh.t and trying to convince us it is filet mignon.
